Gen 1:28  “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” This scripture is one of the widely known but also one of the most misinterpreted scriptures in the Bible. God blessed man to be fruitful, but many have interpreted it as meaning to have many children. However, having children is just one  part of the many fruits that man was created to bear.  The scriptures below highlight some of the areas in which you should be fruitful.

-Fruit of the womb (Gen 30:2) which are your children.

-Fruit  of the animals/cattle(Deut 28:51) which represents what your animals  produce.

Work hard!!!!!!!

-Fruit  of the land (Deut 1:25) which represents what your land  produces.

– Fruit of your works/labour (Psa 104:13) also called fruit of your hands (Pro 31:16) which includes what you produce when you work, do business and also includes soul winning.

-Fruit of the mouth (Pro13:2) which includes all good things we get by the Words we speak.

-Fruit of the thoughts (Jer 6:19 ) which include creative ideas that may take our business, job or organization to higher levels.

Jesus said when you are in Him (when you are Born Again) you are specially chosen and anointed to bear fruits.  Joh 15:16  “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

You need to refuse any condition that is barren in your life with the Word. Speak the Word of God to your condition and you can turn around things. Even if it looks like nothing is happening, don’t stop declaring fruitfulness until it is established; At the same time work hard to be fruitful in whatever you do.

God is glorified when we bear fruits Joh 15:8  “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

Failure to bear fruit is a big issue which makes our Master to be unhappy. Luk 13:6-7 “He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? Joh 15:2  “Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away.” Refuse any type of unfruitfulness in your life.

Confess with me: I am fruitful because I am attached to Christ who is the source of my nutrients. In Him I live, I move and have my being. I refuse every condition of unfruitfulness in my life.  In Jesus Name.
