Malawi capital side giants Silver Strikers were in excellent form as they hit four goals against Epac FC at Civo stadium in Lilongwe on Saturday.
The match started on a high intensity as both teams were in search for early first half goals.
It was Silver Strikers who first broke the deadlock after Peter Wadabwa scored a beauty to give them a 1-0 lead.
Shortly after the goal, the central bankers kept on pressurizing Epac and Wadabwa scored another beauty for Silver Strikers to make it 2-0 in the first half.
Come second half, both Silver and Epac came in with fresh ideas as they looked for the crucial next goal.
It came for Silver Strikers when forward Green Harawa put the game beyond Epac’s reach with Silver’s third goal.
After that goal Epac started pressurizing Silver as they were in search for a consolation goal but their efforts yielded nothing as the bankers never looked like conceding a goal.
The last goal of the game came through defender Lucky Malata who scored a bullet header to make it 4-0 for Silver.
