Sable Farming relegated from Super League


Chiradzulu based farmers, Sable Farming, have been relegated from the Super League.

Sable played their 29th League game of the season against Silver Strikers and lost 2-1 on Sunday to bow down from the elite league despite remaining with a game to conclude the league.

Sable are on position 14 with 24 points, while relegation rivals Red Lions are on position 13 with 28 points which means even if Sable win their last game they will still not pass the Zomba based soldiers.

Rumphi United were the first to exit the league followed by TN stars.

The 2022 Tnm Super League has seen one team from each of the country’s three regions getting relegated.

Speaking, after Silver Strikers game coach for Sable McDonald Mtetemela confirm his team is out.

“I can now confirm that Sable is out of the league although we are left with a game but we can not tally with our competitors.

“Our boys put an effort, let me also thank the management, supporters and technical panel for working hand in hand,” said Mtetemela.

Shema and Fodya scored for Bankers while Tetteh scored for Sable.

Nyasa Big Bullets are still leading the league with 2 points gap with Malawi Police side Blue Eagles.
