He joined Wanderers last season after being demoted to the third assistant coach at Bullets for failing to meet the club licensing requirements.

And at Nomads, his failure to end the team’ 11 year Super League drought was his curse as he got fired last month along side Eddington Ng’onamo whom he was deputising.

Weeks into the jungle, Kananji is now back at Bullets where he successfully guided the current league champions to a double by winning the 2014 championship as well as the Carlsberg Cup.

According to reports, he will start his job on Monday at Bullets’ training base.

Before returning to Bullets, the former Blantyre United coach was on the verge of joining Chipiku Central Region Football league’ Tiyuni FC but an offer from the Blantyre based giants was too good for him to turn down.
