One of the lower league teams in the north which has reached the last 16 of the Fisd challenge cup, Zolozolo United, has vowed to go all the way to the finals of the cup.
Speaking during a training session, Zolozolo coach Oscar Kaunda said his team is capable of reaching the finals of the cup.
“We are much ready to reach the finals, no matter which team will be playing us, our aim is to make history.
“At the moment we are representing northern region after all Super League teams in the north were booted out,” said Kaunda.
The former Civo United mentor claimed that he know each Super League teams’ strengths and weaknesses thus beating them will not be a tough ask.
Zolozolo beat Masendesende 7-0 to reach regional semifinals where they beat Green Rangers of Likoma by 3 goals to one.
Oscar Kaunda’s team faced Rumphi Pirates in the regional finals of the cup on Saturday at Mzuzu stadium.
