After mesmerising fans on Friday night at Comesa Hall in Blantyre last week, gospel music songbird Princess Chitsulo says all is set for her long awaited “Nyimbo Yanga” album launch scheduled to take Place this coming Sunday 9th October at Mlambe Motel in Balaka.
Speaking in an interview, Chitsulo said people in Balaka should expect an electrifying show that they can’t afford to miss since she is prepared enough to give the best performance.
“I will give them my best, am preparing very well and I know out of it, each one who will patronize the show will be blessed with my performance,” she said.
Chitsulo added that God has sent her to preach the gospel and during the show people will see the presence of the lord as she is spending sleepless nights meditating on the best gift she can give her fans in Balaka.
“I love my fans, therefore I have to prepare something so special for them to enjoy, I can’t disclose it now but let them come on Sunday in Balaka to see for themselves and they will not regret,” she said.
Accompanying her in Balaka will be Favored Martha, Lloyd Phiri, Maria Nundwe, Donnex Muva, Thoko Katimba, Martha Kasambara, King James Phiri, Great Angels Choir, Ethel Kamwendo, and Kamuzu Barracks Gospel Singers.
Slated to start at 12 noon, the show will attract an entry fee of K1000 per head. Chitsulo’s album was recorded at One Heart studios by Lloyd Phiri and has songs like Petulo, Ukulu Wanu, Akayimilira, Sikufuna Kwanga and Pandekha.
The singer has three albums to her credit including Sindilora which was recorded in 2006 in South Africa and released in 2008 in Malawi. In 2012 she also released another album titled “Palibe Otsutsa”.
