An angry mob in Salima district has stoned to death a 37 year-old man who murdered his wife after disagreements over the ownership of their house.

According to Salima Police Public Relations Officer Gift Chitowe, the man Jebesi and his wife Tikhale Nowa disagreed over the ownership of a house which they were living in.

The couple built the house at the home village of the wife and they were staying in it as a family. But the marriage broke down and the woman decided to send the man packing.
