Devotion: Exercise your Faith

Faith

Rom 4:19-21 KJV* “And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”

The scripture above shows us that Abraham was strong in faith. He refused to be weak in faith. Weak faith does not mean the person doesnt have faith. Weak faith means the person has faith but does not exercise the faith. Just as as in physical when one doesnt do exercises for long,  they become weak, so is in the realm of spirit pertaining to the faith. If you havent exercised with your faith for long then it becomes weak.

FaithWhen the Word tells you, you are healed(1 Peter 2:24), and you believe it, then start to exercise your faith. Wake up from the bed and force yourself to walk. Even if you are weak physically start doing some actions. You will find out that by and by, your body is getting strengthened by the Word.

If you are a Pastor who believes God for bigger things, then get required knowledge to operate at higher level.

If you believe as a believer you were given power to trample over every power of the enemy(Luke 10:19), then start exercising by laying hands on the sick. Even if results are not immediately seen, dont give up, continue doing this till you start getting results.

If you know you are a seed of Abraham, operating under the Abrahamic blessings, then behave like one. Change your speech, speak blessings intead of curses. Change the way you treat others. Dress nicely. Treat others nicely. Appreciate what they do and learn to be acommodative.

If you believe as a student you are getting better grades, exercise your faith. Show it in your studies. Study like a person with better grades. Handle yourself in all aspects as one of such.

If you believe your business is big, then behave like a man with big business. Start networking with other bigger businesses. Think differently and treat your customers as customers of big business. Treat yourself as owner of a big business. Get knowledge for bigger business. This is exercising faith and the more you do this, the more you become strong in faith.

Confession

I exercise my faith in everything I do. I live by faith and therefore everything I do, I do it by faith. I move from glory to glory as I exercise in Faith. In Jesus Name. Amen.
