Member of Parliament for Mulanje South Bon Winiko Kalindo might have gained prominence for leading a semi-naked parade against the killing of people with albinism but the political party for which he is a member is unhappy with him and has distanced themselves from him.
At a rally addressed by the President of the party Peter Mutharika in Mulanje which is also the district where Kalindo comes from, speakers at the rally took time to discredit Kalindo.
“Your excellency, you might have heard of some people protesting on the issue of the killings of people with albinism, let me say on behalf of the people of Mulanje that we did not send such people,” said the regional governor (South) of the party Charles Mchacha.
Mchacha said that the parade was not sanctioned by the people of Mulanje nor was it endorsed by the DPP.
Taking his turn, the Secretary General of the Party Ecklen Kudomtoni also dressed down Winiko saying that he was a mad person who was protesting against himself as he was a Member of Parliament who was protesting against Parliament itself.

Parading is unfair especial in public but at the same time they are great alarm raisers as they sends a clear message to killlers,would be killers and laze lawmakers.when u see pipo parading semi naked it means all is not well as answers,solutions and clues will be hunted with all type of ammunition.in this case its when pipo cant take it anymore but want answers.so there,i can see a semi naked ammunition as the lasting solution used,though raising eyebrows,effective,recognised and the news is on public’s lips coz of “semi naked’parade.i hope the issue since it has received widespread concern,will not go untouched.we just need solutions to this.
