It never rains but pours for Karonga United as they will be facing Mighty Wanderers on Sunday afternoon at Mzuzu stadium, barely a few days after being booted out of the Presidential Cup.

The Nomads will invade the northern region to fulfil their two crucial Super League assignments at Mzuzu stadium in week 6 of the 2016 Tnm Super League.

Karonga United meeting big guns after another.

Karonga United are coming from a 3 nil defeat at the hands of Silver Strikers in their opening Super League fixture and they will yet again be facing another tough opponent in Malawi’s elite league on Sunday afternoon.

The Nomads will be going into the Karonga United clash on the back of a disappointing 3-2 loss at the hands of Mafco fc but they have said they will take the game seriously to impress their supporters.

Mighty Be forward Wanderers captain Francis Mlimbika promised all the Nomads fans that they should expect nothing but 6 points from their trip to the Northern region.

“I urge all Wanderers fans to take heart as we are working day by day to be impressing them, let me promise them we are going to come with all the maximum points from our Northern region trip,” he said.

The Nomads will play against Karonga United on Sunday at the Mzuzu stadium and they will finish their Northern region trip with a date with Moyale Barracks on Monday afternoon at the same venue.

  1. If Nomads fail to win this match comfortably, probably with a big margin, then we may conclude that something is wrong in Nomads camp. I have watched Karonga United playing, but it is as if the are still in lower league and not Super League.
