Malawian student shines in Turkey

A Malawian student Hussein Collins Chipala, 30, has been named as one of the outstanding students at Ege University in Turkey.

According to Chipala, he has passed his Master’s degree in Educational Administration, Planning and Economy with a distinction among few students doing the same programme at the university. Commenting on his secrets to success, Chipala said that hardworking, focus, consistence, applying dynamic leadership skills, God fearing and perseverance are the key pillars to his success.

“I believe that anything can happen in this world once you are fully committed. Therefore, I encourage the students that would like to follow my path to value these,” said Chipala in an interview with Malawi24.

The master’s degree that Chipala obtained is expected to help in contributing to education development in the country.

“The programme has equipped me with necessary skills and knowledge for my professional competences. The programme has also equipped me in leadership skills that can be used in solving some of the educational challenges Malawi is hallowing. I hope most of the educational problems now will be approached scientifically,” said Chipala.

Chipala encouraged all students who wish to study in Turkey to do so because Turkey is a country of high advanced technologies that can help to make their studies fulfilling and rewarding.

Chipala won a Turkish government scholarship to study a master’s degree after graduating from University of Malawi, Chancellor College.

During his studies in Turkey, Chipala was once a president of Malawian scholars in Turkey.

In time of his leadership, he managed to improve the association as involving many donors to fund their functions as well as coordinating their activities to the Malawian Embassy which is in Germany.

Chipala comes from Kalimanjira village, Traditional Authority Malengachanzi in Nkhotakota district.
