The Public Affairs Committee (PAC) today presented to President Peter Mutharika resolutions made at the organisation’s conference in February.
The meeting was initially scheduled to take place on March 29 but the State House postponed it since Mutharika was tied up.
”It is true we are meeting the president today where we will deliver the results of all inclusive stakeholders conference. We have been asking for the appointment and we were supposed to meet the president on March 29 but the president was so busy and now they have given us today this afternoon,” said PAC publicity secretary, Father Peter Mulomole.
He further said they are expecting that soon after presenting the recommendations, the president will look at them together with his advisors and later implement them.
Mulomole claimed that the recommendations are applicable and that PAC will also tell government how best the recommendations can be implemented.
