Salanje: Chinga’s death is an attack by the devil

In Facebook post, Salanje has also blasted fellow preachers in Malawi for Chinga’s death, saying her demise is an indication that pastors in the county are doing nothing as men of God.

The flamboyant pastor who has so far called on fellow pastors to join arms in prayers to bring back gospel songstress from the dead said Chinga’s passing is an indication that Malawi does not have trusted men of God.

Said Salanje: “Death of Grace Chinga is a clear indication that we are doing nothing as Men of God. This is an attack from the devil and it could be prevented if someone was to pray for her and command her soul to come back.

“If someone can suffer headache in the evening and die in that same evening and be taken to mortuary without thinking of taking a person to a certain man of God for a solution, is a clear indication that there are no trusted men of God in the land”.

Salanje said it is a shame that pastors are only interested in looting for tithe from people who they cannot rescue from what he termed a small problem.

“We are busy collecting tithes from people but we can’t provide solutions to small problems like this one, the whole Grace Chinga going to the grave because of headache like that, without no one to rescue her soul?

“I feel so a shamed to be called a man of God and yet we allow the devil to take people to the grave like that while we are watching. What are we collecting the tithes for, if we can’t provide solutions to people? Let’s stop collecting tithes until we put our house in order if we are to be serious,” said Salanje.

Despite urging other pastors to pray for Chinga’s resurrection, Salanje wished her to rest in peace thereby contradicting his own quest to have the songstress who passed away last night resurrected.

While generating a backlash for the post from most people, most of the people who commented on the post challenged the self-anointed man of God to fly to Malawi to bring her back.

“Pastor salanje. You are very rich. You can book a flight now to Malawi grace will be burried on saturday. I swear its not too late for you to go and do what you have just written now….And she is still around Queen Elizabeth central hospital. Plz go. Dont waist time answering these people on fb. Go go go go please” commented Gitta Phiri.

Lucy Mkoko also said: “Still more time abusa she is not yet buried, you can fly soon you will be in MW. If you really mean what you are saying then go pray for her please Man of GOD. We still need her alive”.
