“Mache**e ako!” Mulli’s viral expletives rebooted

After the inmates at the Zomba Maximum Prison missed out on the Grammy Awards, Malawi’s only hope at next year’s  awards could fall on business magnet Leston Mulli.

This sense of anticipation has come about with a recent reboot of a recorded telephone interview between journalist Billy Adam Phiri and Mulli.

In the interview, Mulli loses his temper when asked why he was absent at last year’s Mulhakho wa Alhomwe. The business tycoon had never missed any of the annual ceremonies for the grouping that he had been funding since its formation.

The conversation that went viral last year has now been given a new lease of life in an animated version.

“I cannot be telling you what I am doing or where I am sleeping. You are too stupid! Mache*$e akonso wamva” rants Mulli on the other end of the phone as a terrified Phiri dashes out of the newsroom.

The reboot, set in Phiri’s office, is a production of 3DMalawi.
