Mighty Wanderers say they are done with preparations for the dinner and dance event to take place on Saturday in Blantyre.
The event which is scheduled to be held at College of Medicine sports complex in the commercial city is aimed at raising funds for the construction of the Nomads’ stadium.
Nomads general secretary Mike Butao said they are ready to hold Saturday’s event at the sports complex. “A lot of companies have come in support of the event and we will still mobilise others to come through, we want 2016 season to be a different season and we believe it will be,” Butao explained.
The 2015 Carlsberg Cup champions are planning to raise K50 million through various activities to help implement their strategy. “If we generate the money it will really help us,” Butao said. Mighty Be Forward’s dinner and dance is expected to be spiced up by a lot of activities which will make the event memorable. The cheapest ticket for the event is going at K20,000.
