Defender George Nyirenda is on the verge of joining his ex-club Nyasa Big Bullets, Malawi24 can confirm.
The defender has already terminated his contract with Zimbabwean top side Caps United and he has started training with the people’s team.
Malawi24 understands that Nyirenda has held talks with Bullets and he is hopeful that he will sign a contract with the Blantyre based side.
In a related development, Big Bullets forward Jaffali Chande has been forced to deny reports that he will leave the club in the current transfer window.
Chande was rumoured to be interested in a move to Be Forward Wanderers but the player says he cannot leave Bullets for any other team in the country.
He said: “I am not leaving Big Bullets for Wanderers this season; I am going to stay at Big Bullets because they are football giants in the country, so I don’t have plans to leave Bullets for any team in Malawi.”
