Silver Strikers forward Green Harawa has reportedly rejected Malawi super league champions, Big Bullets’ advances opting instead to sign a pre-contract with their archrivals, Mighty Wanderers.
According to reports, Harawa is already in the commercial city as he is expected to meet Nomads officials and to discuss personal terms before putting pen to paper later today.
Confirming the development, an inside source from the Lali Lubani side has told the media that the forward arrived in Blantyre on Tuesday evening and all is set for the deal to be sealed.
It is said that Harawa’s contract with the capital city based giants expired at the end of last season.
Big Bullets have been seeking the forward’s signature for over two seasons now but the move has been hitting the wall.
If Harawa signs for Nomads, he will become their third signing. The 2015 Carlsberg Cup Champions have already signed Wizards duo, Rafiq Namwera and Ernest Tambe, who are waiting for the transfer market to be opened tomorrow in order to officially become Nomads players.
