Malawian starlet, Robin Ngalande, has failed to impress at his club, Platinum Stars FC, in the first round of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) in South Africa.
According to South African press, the club officials have revealed that the striker is failing to give them what they bought him for from Ajax Cape Town football club.
One of the officials who asked for anonymity told Goal.com of South Africa that Ngalande is a good striker and the club had been expecting a lot from him.
“You know he is a very good striker but things are not going his way. He was doing well at Ajax last season but when he joined us our club was expecting a lot from him,” said the Source.
However, the source said that things to do with his work permit in South Africa have contributed a lot to his performance.
He said: “He delayed his start because of his work permit and I think that also affected his performance at the team.”
Ngalande once played for the youth team of Atletico Madrid of Spanish La Liga in Europe before coming to Africa.
