A 25 year old man, Levison Adisoni has been killed after he was found naked in woman’s house in Nathenje in Malawi capital, Lilongwe.
It is said that the man is known for sleeping with women through magic.
But on Sunday night he was assaulted to death by angry mob after he was found naked in woman’s cottage.
Confirming the development, Lilongwe Police Spokesperson Inspector Kingsley Dandaula said community members gathered after the woman screamed for help.
“When the woman saw him she started screaming for help and members of the community came and apprehended him and took him to the village Chief where he was seriously assaulted,” said Dandaula.
Dandaula disclosed that police went to take his body after they got tipped and said that the magician was pronounced dead on arrival.
“The matter was reported and the police rushed to the scene and took Adisoni’s body to Kamuzu Central Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival,” explained Dandaula.
A post mortem result disclosed that the death was due to internal injuries and suffocation.
Levison Adisoni who hails from Tsachiti Village in the area of Tradition Authority Kalumba in Lilongwe.
