After beating South Africa 36-21 and losing to New Zealand 52-27, the Malawi Queens produced a stunning performance to beat England by 35-32 to win a bronze medal at the just ended Fast5 netball series in Australia.

New Melbourne Vixens signing Mwai Kumwenda, who top scored for the tournament with 151 points, led Malawi national netball team, The Queens, to famous win which will likely be remember for the side’s spirited post-match dance celebration.

The Queens will arrive through the Kamuzu International Airport on Tuesday.

And in the final, New Zealand dominated their Australian counterparts 41-16 to once again be crowned the Fast5 Netball world champions.
