Hell broke loose on Sunday when a lady (name withheld) was caught stealing money at a wedding at HHI Hall in Blantyre, Malawi24 has learnt.
According to a source, the lady pretended to be part of the team that helped to pick the money splashed by people to the newly wedded couple only to be caught by the lens of a camera.
”She pretended to be on the people who helped in picking of the Pelekani-Pelekani money. But the camera man who was shooting the proceedings, noticed that she could put some of the money in her pockets’ a source told Malawi24.
With the help of police officers who were at the wedding, she was interrogated and admitted to have been stealing at a number of weddings in Blantyre in the company of her friends.
According to reports, she has since been arrested.
