Nyasa Big Bullets striker Muhammad Sulumba has attributed his three-goal heroics against Red Lions to his teammates.

The stunning performance in a 4-1 win over Red Lions in a friendly Match at the Kamuzu Stadium truly heralded Sulumba’s arrival.

The former Blantyre United striker puffed out his chest in his inimitable style to outshine the Red Lions defence and grab his first hat trick for the TNM Super League kings.

However, the striker has played down suggestions that his performance was down to his individual brilliance, arguing that it was rather a collective performance.

“It is not easy to score three goals in one match, this is not an act of individual brilliant but I owe it to my teammates for their support.

“Now I can understand and lead the movements of my colleagues and this is the true reflection of what we have been doing during training,” he said.

The 23 year-old however promised fans that they should expect a lot from him though he was quick to plead with the Bullets faithful to exercise patience on him.

“I can assure all the BB fans that there is more to come from me because I am here to do my job and I will try my best to deliver because I have faith and confidence in my ability, but there is need to exercise patience because I am a human being, not all days will be Sundays.”

Sulumba is expected to link up well with Chiukepo Msowoya and Mussa Manyenje to form a potent trident of MMS.
