Malawi national team coach Ernest Mtawali has got all the reasons to smile as he now has a full squad for the Guinea game after three Mozambique based players joined up with their teammates.
Chimango Kaira, John Banda, and Schumacher Kuwali were the only players yet to join the Malawi national team as they were busy with club duties but they are now with the Flames.
This will be a boost to the Malawi national team which will face Guinea in a titanic battle as the two Group L teams will both be looking for a win.
However, defender Harry Nyirenda suffered a knock during a strength testing match against Sierra Leone on 22 March but the Flames team doctor Levi Mwale is yet to determine the gravity of the injury.
He has since recovered.
The Flames face Guinea at 28 September Stadium on Friday and the return leg will be played on the 29th March at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Both Malawi and Guinea are tied on points in group L with a point each but the former is ranked on position 3 with a superior goal difference whereas latter is anchoring the table.
Tunisian referee Youssef Essrayri will take charge of the showdown in Conakry.
In other group L matches, leaders Swaziland will play host to Zimbabwe in the top of the table clash before a return leg over the weekend.
