Nyasa Big Bullets team Manager Rahim Ishmael has heaped praise on new catch Muhammad Sulumba after the forward grabbed his debut brace for the team in a 4-1 rout over Red Lions in a friendly match played at the Kamuzu Stadium.

The former Blantyre United ace was the star of the match as he scored twice in the first half before completing his treble in the early stages of the second half.

The striker’s performance did not go unnoticed by the Bullets team manager who was full of praise for the Sulumba’s dextrous performance.

“We finished the game with Sulumba scoring the hat-trick, he really did well, I am happy for him and I am just hoping he is going to build his confidence,” said Ishmael.

He also noted that the victory was achieved without a number of key players prompting the team manager to underline the importance of having a big squad.

Ishmael said: “You can see that Bashir was not with us, Faluk is out, Mac Fallen is out again. In fact almost five or more key players were not present but you could still see that there was mobility in the team.”

“We are still trying to build a strong team and we have not stopped signing players yet, we are still searching for players who can add quality to our team.”

His switch from he Nomads to Bullets heightened the long time rivalry between the two heavyweights.
