It might be the Nigeria’s TB Joshua that is giving Malawi President Peter Mutharika sleepless nights but the one who has been told of the Malawi leader’s death is not the Nigerian prophet.

A late night post on the page of South African based Malawian prophet Austin Liabunya has announced that the Malawi leader will die earlier than he expects.

In a statement that was monitored by Malawi24, Liabunya commented in a Prophetic parable about the end of Mutharika’s reign which he alleged will be sooner than 2019.

Liabunya said that God was angry with Mutharika for associating with evil powers and wants to punish Mutharika by making him end like his brother. The brother to Peter, Bingu, died in April 2012 after a Prophecy by Nigerian TB Joshua who has just been told off by the Malawian leader.

Liabunya claims that Mutharika will leave with tears and blood for disobeying the commands of God who among others told him to leave alone his Cashgate implicated predecessor Joyce Banda.

“Malawi President Peter Mutharika calls Prophet TB Joshua false in public. This clearly shows the President’s downfall, fulfilling the prophecy that he is about to fall” said the self-acclaimed man of God.

Liabunya, preferring to speak as God directly talking to Mutharika indicated that Mutharika will soon be alone as most of his friends will defect to his rival who might be Lazarus Chakwera, the leader of opposition. Last month it was alleged that Chakwera’s MCP was plotting to overthrow the government of Peter Mutharika. Activist Ben Chiza Mkandawire further said that senior civil servants were seen welcoming Chakwera at the airport, a development that meant they were pledging allegiance to the MCP leader.

Liabunya is known for his succinct prophecies he made concerning the May 2014 polls in which he said Mutharika will win.
