Blasto, BFB collaborate with South African rapper

Malawi’s urban music artists, BFB and Blasto have separately collaborated with South African legendary rapper Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP) on two singles whose date of release will be announced soon.

The titles of the songs are not yet known but according to BFB, they will be labelled when studio work is over.

The “loko yanga ili swagi” hit-maker recently posted a picture on Instagram which shows him with HHP at Lapeng Studio in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The picture bears the caption, “It feels great to make a song with a legend.”

BFB and Blasto have been partners for a long time despite embracing different genres of music.

BFB who is also a producer has had his hands on a number of Blasto’s songs.

Blasto the local dancehall king has taken his music to greater heights as he recently did a sound track for a Hollywood movie which premiered last month in the United States of America (USA).

HHP who is also populary known as Jabba is one of the greatest hip hop artists South Africa has ever had. He also has a strong financial muscle whose basis is business. Among his brands is a perfume called HHP.

In his music career, he has won international awards besides getting nominated for continental music awards for a multitude of times. His hit song, Bosso, elevated his status as an artist. In 2010, he collaborated with Teargas and Liquideep in a track titled “born for this” which won a Channel O music award as song of the year.
