According to information gathered by this publication, the two veterans have been axed at Wanderers because the club believes they can no longer play at the top level.

The former Malawi national team defending midfielder, Jacob Ngwira confirmed that he has been released by Wanderers and wished the club a successful season in the 2016 TNM Super League season.

“It is true I have been released by Wanderers but I wish them all the best and I will look out for their progress in the coming season,” said Ngwira.

The defending midfielder added that if all goes well he will be heading to Mozambique where he will sign for one of the county’s top teams.

According to sources, the midfielder will be taken to Mozambique by one of the country’s football agents Ken Giggs who wants Ngwira to sign for Desportivo Liga Malcumana.

In the current transfer window, the Nomads have recruited Ernest Tambe and Rafique Namwera from Wizards FC and are also on the verge of signing Genki Nakamura from Japan as the striker has impressed during his trials.
