Police arrest three housebreakers

ArrestedMalawi Police in Limbe over the weekend arrested three men for breaking into a house and stealing various items.

According to Limbe Police assistant public relations officer Widson Nhlane, the three suspects are Frazer Grevulo, 27, Pation Lembani, 29, and Alex Daudi, 18.

Nhlane said the three stole home theaters, hot plates, three cellphones and two sets of pots. He said the law enforcers are still investigating the matter to find out if the suspects are also connected to other recent burglaries.

The police publicist has since appealed to the general public to continue tipping the law enforcers about suspicious people in their communities.

Grevulo hails from Namate village T/A Nthiramanja in Chiradzulu, Lembani comes from Mandawala village T/A Mwambo in Zomba district while Daudi hails from Chiuta village T/A Nyenga in Chiradzulu district.
