Malawi super league giants, Nyasa Big Bullets has appealed to the club’s supporters to help the team financially during its pre-season training.

Bullets technical director Billy Tewesa made the appeal at Kamuzu Stadium when he addressed Bullets supporters who had gathered to watch the team’s first pre-season training on Tuesday.

“We need your support, assist your team with some cash so that we should be giving it to the new players who will be training with us as part of their transport allowances,” said Tewesa.

The Bullets technical director added that starting Wednesday, the supporters will be paying K100 at the gates to watch the team train.

Tewesa then assured the supporters that they will see the club’s new signings in action before the close of the transfer window.

During the current transfer window, Nyasa Big Bullets have signed Muhamad Sulumba from Blantyre United as well as John Lanjesi and Emmanuel Zoya from Civo United.

During the meeting, Tewesa also tackled questions from the supporters on various issues affecting the club.

Responding to a question about goalkeeper Vincent Gona’s injury, Tewesa said that Gona is still not feeling ok and it will take a long time for him to be back into the team.

“Gona is still sick and we are not expecting to have him back soon. But I urge you the people’s team supporters to be paying him a visit from time to time,” he said.
