Former Malawi under-20 national football team wonder kid, Chawanangwa Kaonga, has refuted rumours linking him to two Blantyre giants, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and Nyasa Big Bullets.

Kaonga who plays his football in Mozambique for Chibutu FC has revealed his position on the matter through a social media post.

According to the post that Malawi24 has seen, the player suggests that he will rejoin his former club if he returns to Malawi.

“My heart is still at Silver Strikers and not what you are talking about,” reads Kaonga’s post.

Since last week, people have been has been spreading rumours on social media that Kaonga is discussing with the two Blantyre clubs for a possible move.

Kaonga joined Chibutu FC of Mozambique Macombola League last year from Lilongwe based side Silver Strikers FC at a fee of about Mk7.5 million.
