Malawian champions Big Bullets will play Dynamos of Zimbabwe in a series of friendly matches this month, Malawi24 can reveal.

The friendly games are one way of preparing for the upcoming 2016 soccer season as well as launching Bullets’ sponsorship deal in a grand style.

On Monday during the official launch, Bullets chairman Sam Chilunga confirmed that his side will play an international match but refused to reveal the identity of the said club.

However, Malawi24 can reveal the identity of the club as Dynamos of Zimbabwe.

According to information at hand, Dynamos will travel to Malawi by road this month for two friendly matches against Bullets in Blantyre and Lilongwe.

The team’s general secretary Webster Chikengezha confirmed the development saying his side will indeed play Bullets twice before connecting to Tanzania for other pre-season games.

“We have received the invitations and we are hoping to go to Malawi by road and then fly to Tanzania from there, if it’s possible. We are still working on the logistics and the dates but this is going to be part of our pre-season preparations,” he said.

According to Chikengezha, Bullets will cater for the expenses of the trip.

Bullets landed a K0.5 billion sponsorship deal with NMC, ending their 11 year financial hurdle in the top flight.
