Nomads: Have elections soon.

The meeting resolved that supporters executive committee elections should take place on 30th January with the main executive committee polls taking place on February 6.

Before the meeting, a section of the team’s supporters committee had earlier on demanded the main executive committee to conduct the polls next week but the George Chamangwana led committee turned them down saying the decision to call for elections lies in the hands of the main executive committee.

Supporters committee general secretary Paul Mphepo expressed happiness at the club’s decision.

“This is what we call democracy. No matter how good the current committee is, we need to follow our constitution so that by the end of the day, every Nyerere fan is satisfied with how the club is being run,” he said.
