Both Msowoya and Bokosi bagged 14 goals.

Bokosi (in red) tied with Chiukepo on 14 goals.

Msowoya had 13 goals before netting one goal in Sunday’s match against Civo United at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

The Big Bullets forward was required to score more than a goal against the 2015 Standard Bank Cup champions to overtake Bokosi.

The strikers will now share the Mk100,000 that was put aside for the golden boot award winner.

However, Msowoya and Bokosi failed to match the record set by Moyale Barrack’s Gastin Simkonda who netted 17 goals last season.
