With the FDH Bank Premiership on break, Goshen City Dedza Dynamos are fighting to stay out of trouble—and the first big move has come off the pitch, with the club dissolving its entire executive committee.
The club is sitting 12th in the 2026/27 FDH Bank Premiership and has now started a restructuring process aimed at strengthening its administration.
Club patron Lewis Msukwa made the decision, according to Chief Executive Officer Haswell Gamphani.
Gamphani said the club will immediately put in place an interim governance structure to oversee its operations while a new administrative arrangement is being developed.
He said details of the new structure are expected to be communicated on October 1, 2026.
The restructuring gives the club time to reorganise during the league break before returning to competitive action.
Dedza Dynamos are scheduled to host Masters FC at Dedza Stadium on October 11 before travelling to Civo Stadium to face Civil Service United on October 17.
Gamphani did not disclose the composition of the interim structure or whether the changes would affect the club’s technical and playing departments.
The club was among 14 Super League teams granted full licences by the Football Association of Malawi for the 2026/27 season.
More details on the new administrative structure are expected when the club makes its formal communication on October 1.
