A new Afro pop artist has been introduced on the local music industry with fire having made a bright genesis into the music journey with high quality music products.
The new kid on the block, Jmajor, has taken the challenge of doing music the African way as a sign of patriotism.
As a matter of having well baked products, the singer has worked with a number of top notch producers on his projects. He has among others involved Tricky Beats, Desert Eagle and Bucci on production.
He told this publication on Monday that he has big plans in the industry. Considering the competition he is facing from big names in Afro Pop, he said he will engage an extra gear to get himself established.
“I will be dropping a 10 track album before this year ends. I have featured some of the local award winning musicians on the project.”
Jmajor is defying the up-and-coming artist status with international standards in his products. This has influenced others to mistake him for an American singer or a musician from any other country with a vibrant entertainment industry.
In one of his songs, he shines with Afro pop king Dan Lu on a Tricky Beats production whose video was crafted by the award winning Sukez. The level of quality has been highly rated.
In Malawi it is rare for up-and-coming musicians to have high level of quality on their music both in audio and visual due to lack of resources but Jmajor is among the few with high quality.
