Invitation to bid

The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) is responsible for collecting and accounting for tax revenue on behalf of the Malawi Government. The Authority has budgeted funds for the provision of power generation set servicing and maintenance.

The Chairperson of MRA’s Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for these services.

Bidding will follow the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act (2025) of the Government of Malawi. The process is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

Purchase of bidding documents

A complete set of bidding documents is available upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K10,000 (Ten Thousand Malawi Kwacha).

Payment may be made in cash, by bank-certified cheque or in any convertible currency.

Requests for clarification

Requests for clarification must reach MRA no later than 10 November 2026.

Late bids will be rejected.

Opening of bids

Bids will be opened at 15:00 local time on 17 November 2026. Bidders’ representatives who wish to attend the opening proceedings may do so.
