Men facing personal and family struggles have been urged not to carry their burdens alone, but to find strength and support through fellowship.
The call was made on Sunday by Rev. Macdonald Khuzeya of CCAP Mpachika Church in Blantyre during a ceremony where 35 men were formally welcomed into the church’s men’s fellowship.
Khuzeya said participating in the fellowship gives men an opportunity to support and encourage one another during difficult times, helping them avoid becoming overwhelmed by life’s challenges.
He said spiritual encouragement and interaction among men can provide an important support system for those dealing with personal or family problems.
The church’s men’s ministry chairperson, Frank Mataya Mwale, urged more men to join the fellowship and commit themselves to making a positive contribution to their families, the church and the country.
Mwale said men’s participation in the ministry should go beyond membership, with members expected to play an active role in supporting the church and society.
One of the newly admitted members, John Sambakunsi, also encouraged other men to join the ministry with a genuine desire to serve God and contribute to the work of the church.
