The figure is K135 million less from the revenue generated during last year’s same tournalment final at the same epicenter.
The 2025 Airtel Top 8 final between Silver Strikers and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets grossed K216 million.
This year’s encounter saw Ekhaya Football Club lift the trophy after beating their “big brother” Mighty Wanderers 2-1 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on Sunday.
In 2025, both Bullets and Silver each walked away with K45 million, an amount that exceeded the tournament’s official prize money.
The 2026 Zamadolo final listed Blessings Malinda and Allen Chihana as the scorer for the Cowboys, while Mphatso Kamanga netted a consolation goal for the Nomads.
