Award-winning R&B artist Teddy Makadi will headline the Love and Vibes event at Cork and Bottle in Mulanje on Saturday, 28 February 2026, organisers confirmed.
The performance is part of a February love-themed celebration and marks Makadi’s second appearance in Mulanje.
Cork and Bottle manager Miss Sylvia Nderema said the event will give people from Mulanje and surrounding areas an opportunity to enjoy “good vibes and great live performances” from artists who rarely perform in the area.
In addition to Makadi, DJ Mighty Virus is scheduled to play music during the event. Nderema said organisers expect to announce another act later this week.
Organisers are positioning the event as a community-focused night of live music and entertainment intended to draw fans of R&B and partygoers from the district and neighbouring communities. Further logistical details such as ticketing and start time were not provided in the announcement.
