INVITATION TO QUOTE: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLES

Msilikali Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (MSACCO) Limited, with funding from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) through the Ecosystems-Based Adaptation for Resilient Watersheds and Communities in Malawi (EbAM) Project, implemented by the Financial Access for Rural Markets, Smallholders and Enterprise Programme (FARMSE), invites eligible and reputable motorcycle dealers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of four (4) off-road motorcycles.

Minimum Specifications

– Quantity: Four (4) motorcycles
– Engine Capacity: 125 – 150cc
– Engine Type: Four-stroke, single-cylinder
– Suspension and Tyres: Heavy-duty front and rear suspension suitable for off-road terrain
– Braking System: Front and rear brakes
– Accessories: Two helmets, one basic toolkit and one protective carrier box per motorcycle
– Warranty: Minimum one (1) year or 10,000 kilometres
– Tyre Size: Front: 18-21 inches; Rear: 18-21 inches
– Ground Clearance: 8-10 inches (203 – 254 mm)
– Delivery Period: 2 weeks after Local Purchase Order (LPO)

Mandatory Documentation

The following documents must accompany quotations:
1. Names and contact details of the business owner(s)/director(s).
2. Valid Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) Tax Compliance Certificate.
3. Valid Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA) Registration Certificate.
4. Valid business registration certificate from the relevant registration authority.
5. For suppliers registered under SME categories, a valid SME registration certificate and a copy of the National ID.
6. Manufacturer’s dealership certificate.

Quotations must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTORCYCLES” and addressed to:

All submissions must be received on or before the closing date. Late submissions will not be considered.

MSACCO reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation in accordance with the applicable procurement requirements and is not bound to award the contract to the lowest-priced quote/bid.
