INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

APPOINTMENT OF FUNERAL SERVICE PROVIDERS UNDER THE DEKHANI FUNERAL POLICY

NICO Life Insurance Company Limited invites suitably qualified funeral service providers to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for consideration as approved service providers under the Dekhani Funeral Policy. Dekhani Funeral Policy is a NICO Life funeral insurance product that provides policyholders and their eligible dependants with funeral-service benefits through approved service providers. NICO Life is therefore inviting suitably qualified funeral service providers to express interest in delivering reliable, timely and high-quality funeral services to its clients.

The objective of this exercise is to broaden the network of service providers available to policyholders, enhance service delivery standards, and provide customers with greater flexibility and choice in funeral service arrangements.

Interested service providers must provide information demonstrating their operational, financial, and service delivery capabilities, including:

• Certificate of incorporation and relevant business registrations;
• Number and location of branches/service centres nationwide;
• Number of hearses owned and/or available for service delivery;
• Current stock levels and range of caskets/coffins available for immediate deployment;
• Mortuary facilities and capacity, where applicable;
• Staffing structure and operational capabilities;
• Experience in funeral service provision, including references from institutional clients;
• Evidence of financial and operational stability;
• Ability to provide services on a 24-hour basis;
• Any value-added services offered to clients.
• Applicants should also confirm their willingness to comply with NICO Life’s service standards, contractual requirements, customer protection principles, and applicable regulatory obligations.

NICO Life reserves the right to conduct due diligence inspections and verification visits as part of the evaluation process.

Expressions of Interest, accompanied by all supporting documentation, should be submitted to in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
