Constituency Security Guards (12)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above-mentioned vacant post tenable at Mangochi District Council. Reporting to the Director of Human Resource and Administration (DOHA), the successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties and functions.

POST : Constituency Security Guards (12)

GRADE : (M13/P)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment and access points.
2. Investigates security breaches, incidents and other alarming behavior.
3. Make sure all offices are locked at all times when not occupied.
4. Contact police on an emergency.
5. Write daily reports of legal and illegal activities and write incidents reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be Malawians in possession of Junior Certificate of Education.

How to apply: Candidates who meet the above requirements should submit their application letters, copies of certificates, and a copy of National ID.

Applicants should clearly indicate in the application letter and on the envelope the position being applied for and the name of constituency. Applications should be addressed to the District Commissioner, Mangochi District Council, Private Bag 138, Mangochi, clearly indicating the constituency, to be received NOT LATER THAN 2ND NOVEMBER, 2026.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1. Applicants should be origins or residents of the constituency they are applying for.
2. In the event that there are no qualified candidates in the particular constituency, candidates from other constituencies within the district shall be considered
3. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews
