Supply and Delivery of a 4×4 SUV

INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLE
Date of Issue: 6th November, 2026

1. The Cannabis Regulatory Authority (CRA) has budgeted resources under its 2026/27 Financial Year and it intends to apply part of the funds towards payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of one 4 x 4 SUV.

2. The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee, Cannabis Regulatory Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of the vehicle as follows: Quantity: One. Description: 4 X 4 SUV. Delivery period: 4-6 weeks.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures contained in the Government of Malawi’s Public Procurement Legal Framework and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Cannabis Regulatory Authority and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) during working days from 8.00am to 12.00pm and from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders or their representatives at CRA Cash Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Malawi Kwacha (MK10,000.00) per tender and collected from the Procurement Office at the address given below at 8(a) during working days from 8.00am to 12.00pm and from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. Payment shall be made strictly in cash.

6. Bids, clearly marked on the outer envelope with tender name and reference number, must be delivered to the address at 8(b) below and deposited in the tender box located at the Reception Area, 7th Floor, West Wing of Gemini House, City Centre, Lilongwe at or before 14:00 hours local time on 19th November, 2026.

All bids must be accompanied by a Duly Signed and Stamped Bid Securing Declaration Form. Electronic bidding will not be permitted and late bids shall be rejected.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the address specified in Item 8(c) below, at 14:00 hours (local time) on 26th November 2026.

7. The Cannabis Regulatory Authority (CRA) is not bound to accept the lowest or any other bid and reserves the right to cancel the procurement proceedings, in whole or in part, at any stage.
