Branch Manager

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

Workforce Recruitment Services (WRS), on behalf of its client, is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced and results-oriented professionals for the position of BRANCH MANAGER, to be based in Lilongwe.

Duties and responsibilities

• Branch Operations Management
• Sales and Business Development
• Customer Service and Relationship Management
• Financial Management
• Inventory and Asset Management
• Staff Management and Leadership
• Compliance, Risk Management and Safety

Qualifications and experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Automotive Management, Marketing or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of working experience in the automotive industry.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a management or supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, services and branch operations.

Skills and competencies

• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
• Proven sales, business development and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver results against set targets.

ADDED ADVANTAGE

• Experience managing an automotive dealership, spare parts business, tyre business, and service center or retail branch.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and inventory management systems.
• A proven track record of achieving sales, revenue and profitability targets.
