Residents of Ndirande are gripped by uncertainty following the sudden disappearance of 75-year-old tailor, John Adam Chinyama, who has not been seen since July 19, 2026.
Chinyama, who lived with his wife in Chinseu, was last spotted at his tailoring shop but never returned home, sparking fears among family and neighbors.
Ndirande Police Station spokesperson, Chibisa Mulimbika, confirmed that investigations have been launched.
He said the family’s attempts to trace Chinyama through relatives and friends have so far proved fruitless.
Mulimbika has appealed to members of the public with any information to come forward and assist the police in locating the missing tailor.
Chinyama hails from Malunga Village under Traditional Authority Malemia in Zomba District.
