Head of Sales – FMCG Distribution

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the leading FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) Distribution Company. We are seeking a high-caliber, dynamic Head of Sales to lead our commercial function.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to the commercial team, drive the execution of route-to-market and sales strategies, and deliver aggressive revenue growth across Modern Trade, General Trade, and Traditional Trade channels.

JOB OVERVIEW

• Reports To: Managing Director / CEO
• Direct Reports: Key Account Managers & Channel Leads

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP & REVENUE GROWTH

• Develop and execute the national sales strategy to consistently achieve volume, value, and market share targets.
• Own the P&L, successfully managing commercial budgets, pricing policies, and sales expenses.
• Analyze primary and secondary sales data to forecast market trends, identify commercial gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and channel teams to build a high-performance culture.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in a similar Head of Sales or senior commercial role within the FMCG sector.
• Skills: Strong understanding of route-to-market dynamics, excellent analytical capabilities, and a track record of driving multi-channel growth.
