FCB Nyasa Big Bullets fans are set to experience a new kind of matchday energy, after the club roped in hip-hop heavyweight Gwamba.
Gwamba has officially been unveiled as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ new brand ambassador following a signing sealed in Blantyre on June 19, 2026, marking a bold crossover between music and football marketing.
The rapper, real name Duncan Zgambo, said the role carries deep personal meaning, pointing to his long-time support for the club.
He is expected to feature in fan engagement activities, community outreach programmes, and initiatives designed to bring supporters closer to players.
Big Bullets Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga said the partnership was driven by brand research showing the need to attract wider audiences beyond traditional football followers.
Chigoga said Gwamba’s influence will help the club reach new markets while strengthening its commercial visibility.
The club has previously worked with musicians in ambassador roles, including Eli Njuchi, as part of a growing strategy to merge entertainment and sport in building its brand.
