Bishop Peter Musikuwa has urged seminarians at St. Peter’s Major Seminary to embrace the cross of Jesus Christ and remain vigilant against spiritual challenges.
Speaking during the installation of Readers and Acolytes, the bishop warned that Satan continually seeks to derail those preparing for the priesthood through various temptations.
He encouraged the seminarians to remain steadfast in their calling, dedicate their lives fully to God, and remain obedient to their formators.

Bishop Musikuwa emphasized that many Catholics are looking forward to welcoming them as priests, a goal that requires building a strong and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
He assured them of ongoing prayers from the bishops, acknowledging that the journey to priesthood is demanding.
Also speaking at the event, the Rector of the seminary, Fr. Daniel Kamanga, expressed gratitude to Bishop Musikuwa for his guidance.
He noted that St. Peter’s Major Seminary represents the final stage of priestly formation, following studies at Kachebere Major Seminary.
