Malawi’s football star Temwa Chawinga has been ranked the highest-rated African player in EA Sports FC 27, earning an impressive overall rating of 89.
The achievement puts the Malawian ahead of some of Africa’s biggest football names, including Zambia’s Barbra Banda and Morocco international Achraf Hakimi, who are both rated 88.
Chawinga’s rating comes after a remarkable run of performances for the Malawi Scorchers and her club in the United States’ National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
The Malawian forward has continued to make her mark on the international stage with her pace, goalscoring ability and consistent performances.
