Video of gifted shoes sparks threat, prompts Kineo apology to Malunga family 

Madness Entertainment artist, Kineo has issued a public apology to Cecil Malunga and his family days after a video showed the singer gifting shoes to Malunga’s daughter.

The apology follows threats from Cecil who was angered after learning that Kineo was in a relationship with his daughter and had been buying her gifts.

He reacted to the video by issuing an attack on Kineo and burning the shoes the artist had bought for his daughter.

In a written statement, Kineo admitted he acted wrongly and took full responsibility for the pain and humiliation caused to the family.

“I promise that I will never see or contact your daughter again. I am deeply sorry for the distress that I have brought into your home,” reads part of the statement.

The Malunga family has not issued further public statements beyond their reported reaction.
